Who's Mr Beast? Only THE GREATEST YOUTUBER OF OUR TIME!!

Yes! We had a lovely dinner with a nice family in the ward. Trying to relate the gospel to some of the kids, I brought up Mr. Beast. The littlest brother asked, "Who's Mr. Beast?"
His older 4th grade brother stated, "You don't know Mr. Beast??? He's only the greatest YouTuber of our time!" Let me just say that it was beautiful!


So, let us get to the weightier matters! It was an excellent week. Like 5+ times this week I was biking around and was just thinking, "Man, that was awesome! I love this work. This is Christ's work."


We had some big-time lessons this week! After getting rejected by a lot of people on our way from one appointment to another, we stopped to talk to yet another lady. I asked if she would like to hear a message about Christ. She said, "Absolutely!" but I heard, "Absolutely not." This led to an interesting next few seconds where I leaned into the conversation and testified a little bit about how Christ has helped me before my companion said, "She said Absolutely."


We had a good laugh and have been teaching her happily ever since! 


Ba-da-buh-bah-buh I'm lovin' it!

The rumors are true. I still buy green bananas, even after all that the prophet has taught. In other news... this is the last week of this part of my mission. I'll be back in the Couve on Friday!  The last few weeks people have asked, "Are you nervous, excited, scared, or what?" I'm really just feeling good! It'll be good to keep grinding, living and sharing the word of Christ. That doesn't change! Paul Was The First Masterbuilder!!

1 Corinthians 3:10 "According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon." Be the special! We taught a super cool, extremely spiritual lesson Friday to one of our friends! She is a really nice lady with some adult kids and a husband. She really was seeking peace. We had felt like we should send a reminder text about the lesson to her an hour and a half before the lesson (and thought nothing of it). When we arrived she said she was at work until just a few minutes ago. She was planning to ask to reschedule because she had a lot to get done, but then she got the reminder text from us. She showed it to her boss and said she thought our text was a sign that she needed that lesson. She left work and met with us. We showed her how she can find peace on her own in the scriptures. "Surrounded By Russians"

This was a solid week. I have learned a lot about many different parts of the gospel. My district just got to the in-person MTC today (Wednesday), and it is so sweet!! The people here are so fun, and it is so amazing to work with them in person! I have a very cool story to share.  On my 6 am flight :) from Portland to Salt Lake City today, I was seated on an aisle seat. There was another elder a couple of rows away, so we started talking about where we were going. When I said Dnipro, the man across the aisle from me said with a heavy accent, "You're going to Ukraine!" He proceeded to tell me he was born in Ukraine and grew up in Russia. He was fluent in both Russian and Ukrainian. His family was in the two rows near him. It was so cute to hear his kids say things I could actually understand in Russian.
