But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon." Be the special! We taught a super cool, extremely spiritual lesson Friday to one of our friends! She is a really nice lady with some adult kids and a husband. She really was seeking peace. We had felt like we should send a reminder text about the lesson to her an hour and a half before the lesson (and thought nothing of it). When we arrived she said she was at work until just a few minutes ago. She was planning to ask to reschedule because she had a lot to get done, but then she got the reminder text from us. She showed it to her boss and said she thought our text was a sign that she needed that lesson. She left work and met with us. We showed her how she can find peace on her own in the scriptures. Skiddly dun dun don day... Lessons learned this week: 1) What ever you do, don't spray sunscreen over your eyes if you aren't getting in water. You will look like you are crying your whole pickleball match. 2) One does not simply cook Chili. It takes a legendary recipe. 3) When you pray for miracles, they come! Elder Sanders and I have been seeking to find the elect on a different level. We had many people who were being taught, but not a lot who were getting closer to baptism. So, we have stopped teaching quite a few friends. We have prayed and prayed to find people who are seeking to grow closer to God. America, we gottem.
