I see cactus of green, red thorns too, I see em bloom, for me and you First, welcome stage Elder Cooley, World talks of buckets, Tanner Tooley (Skir skirt) Billy la Bufanda, Senor Wooley And unlike Kyle we no say Hey Julie (Foole) The work has been going fantastic! We had the opportunity to have dinner with a recently activated Tongan family! Their mother's mother was there, and she wasn't a member. We asked if she would like to join us for a message. When she said yes, we shifted gears and taught a full blown 40 minute restoration lesson. She was blown away and wants to learn more. We will be back this week. (Dab) If you like it then you better put a ring on it. So I think I'm getting married to this great work. Stay sweet. Elder Sheppert PS: My 2nd favorite book is  Mara, Daughter of the Nile

When The Days Are Cold

And the cards all fold. Transfers are tomorrow (Wednesday). My brother Elder Giles is leaving to Casa Grande. Big Sad. Presidente told me to put my heart in the bag, and nobody gets hurt.  Elder Giles and I have had: -3 transfers (18 weeks) together as Companions -9 weeks as MTC companions -1.5 transfers (9 weeks) as housemates In total, we have slept in the same room in the same house for 36 weeks so far. Cool story: There's this lady who is super smart and extremely busy working a full time job as a medical professional and also raising 2 rambunctious children. In the last 18 weeks we have stopped by quite a few times, but never a answer until... SHE OPENED THE DOOR SUNDAY AND IT WAS SO HYPE. She has been really busy but we were able to share a brief message and promise rest just like President Nelson. (Dab)  We also had a Master Shifu/Master Chief type beat day. From like 2-5pm, a name of someone would pop into one of our heads! We would head straight there, give blessings ...

Green bean. Yellow Banana. Red Apple. Brown Legume. If I were Dr. Doof, I would make the repentinator. I would zap everyone I saw and their hearts would soften like Ben n Jerry's in the sun. They would find their desire to change their lives to align with the Savior's will. But... I'm not Dr. Doof so I'll have to keep that idea on the back-burner.  It was a good week for service! It is Citrus Seazon and the zone went to pick oranges for some people. We also helped some people move, and mucked stalls at the Ranch.  Not too much content for this one, but no worries, the effort is there! Go Cougs. Elder Sheppert Oh and we did Goat Yoga

If you want to be happy for the rest of your life never: A:let a monkey play with your knife B:make a pretty woman your wife C:have a companion who practiced the fife D:let the rez dogs give you a bite Saturday, we had a missionary exchange and I served on the San Tan Reservation for the day. It was an experience. It was really cool to serve Natives, and share the gospel with some. The challenges faced by the people on the reservation are much different than those of the people in South Chandler. Instead of high functioning families who are extremely busy, there are lots of dysfunctional families where the fathers aren't there, and alcoholism is rampant. The Branch consists mostly of native women and children, and they bring Priesthood in from off the reservation because there are few if any active native men. It is so sad. The dogs on the rez are a little psycho. Dog days for sure. To answer an EXTREMELY popular question of the people: I prefer my water purified through reverse os...
