Now You've Gone And Done It!

The other day, I was on an exchange in an area that had only 1 friend who was meeting with the missionaries. We deeply prayed that the Lord would guide us to the elect! At one point, we had pulled up to neighborhood. As we were about to get out of the car to knock some doors, we felt that we weren't supposed to do that. So we chilled in the car, looking at the maps and options. After 5 minutes of thought stupor (much like the cool beans song), we decided to pray again. The moment we epically ripped apart our crossed arms and gazed into the high sun, a FedEx truck stopped across from us and the man was asking us if we were okay. He had passed us a minute earlier and thought we may have been passed out in a car in the 100+° heat. We told him we were just praying, and then asked if he would want to learn more about Christ's gospel. He said yes!! Hooray for Dean and Hurrah for Israel!! That was a day of miracles!

Our boy Michael got baptized this past Saturday! It was amazing to see him receive an ordinance he had put so much work in for. The cool thing about covenants made with proper priesthood and authority, is that they matter for after this life as well! For an old person to be baptized, it's not like Golem getting the ring right before he hits the lava. It's more like the eagles clutching up for Gandalf and the boys! It's a ride home! We just need to stay on the eagles!

Because of some stability issues, Elder Sanders and I both got in the water with him! That was a new experience! #Pastcompsreunite
Without sharing anything too personal about Michael, I do want to say that only the Atonement of Jesus Christ could help him change the way he has! He has reunited with much of his family and is just so much happier.

2 Nephi 33
6 I glory in plainness; I glory in truth; I glory in my Jesus, for he hath redeemed my soul from hell.

Alma 26
16 Therefore, let us glory, yea, we will glory in the Lord; yea, we will rejoice, for our joy is full; yea, we will praise our God forever. Behold, who can glory too much in the Lord? Yea, who can say too much of his great power, and of his mercy, and of his long-suffering towards the children of men? Behold, I say unto you, I cannot say the smallest part which I feel.

Because of the weakness of my writing and lack of time, I can't adequately express the miracles of Lord... but they are there!! I feel like we are all Ricky Baker in our own way. We can all find the wilderpeople, and it is much more hype when we can lead others there as well!

Once rejected, now accepted,
