Seeing that it is a Monday, here's one for this coming sabbath...
SHABBAT SHALOM


Currently, the work is awesome. It's like having a sweet 1v1 build battle on Camino, and there is most definitely gold on the ceiling. 


We had a lesson scheduled with Michael, one of our most progressing friends, and his girlfriend. As we got out of our prior lesson, we got a text from our fellowship for Michael's lesson. They had said, "Would it work to meet at Culvers instead of the church?" 


Of course!!


We whipped on to Culvers and met them all there. Mid-grub on our ice cream, a family from the CG3 ward (my ward from over a year ago) walks in and sits right by us. We go on with the lesson and really focus on baptism. The CG3 member interrupts and shares the most fire conversion story. Everything came together perfectly and our friend Michael committed to baptism! Our plan was to meet up at the church and share the Plan of Salvation. The Lord's plan was much better (and it included a chocolate malt).


Nearing father's day, I would like to close with one of the GOATED lyrics.


Dad is great! He bakes us a chocolate cake!!

The rumors are true. I still buy green bananas, even after all that the prophet has taught. In other news... this is the last week of this part of my mission. I'll be back in the Couve on Friday!  The last few weeks people have asked, "Are you nervous, excited, scared, or what?" I'm really just feeling good! It'll be good to keep grinding, living and sharing the word of Christ. That doesn't change! Paul Was The First Masterbuilder!!

1 Corinthians 3:10 "According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon." Be the special! We taught a super cool, extremely spiritual lesson Friday to one of our friends! She is a really nice lady with some adult kids and a husband. She really was seeking peace. We had felt like we should send a reminder text about the lesson to her an hour and a half before the lesson (and thought nothing of it). When we arrived she said she was at work until just a few minutes ago. She was planning to ask to reschedule because she had a lot to get done, but then she got the reminder text from us. She showed it to her boss and said she thought our text was a sign that she needed that lesson. She left work and met with us. We showed her how she can find peace on her own in the scriptures. "Surrounded By Russians"

This was a solid week. I have learned a lot about many different parts of the gospel. My district just got to the in-person MTC today (Wednesday), and it is so sweet!! The people here are so fun, and it is so amazing to work with them in person! I have a very cool story to share.  On my 6 am flight :) from Portland to Salt Lake City today, I was seated on an aisle seat. There was another elder a couple of rows away, so we started talking about where we were going. When I said Dnipro, the man across the aisle from me said with a heavy accent, "You're going to Ukraine!" He proceeded to tell me he was born in Ukraine and grew up in Russia. He was fluent in both Russian and Ukrainian. His family was in the two rows near him. It was so cute to hear his kids say things I could actually understand in Russian.
