We Eats It Raw!!!

We have had a great week. Completely packed... but we are eating it up! Elder Giles is an Elder of a beast. I don't mince my words...


Story for the kids: 
We have been working with the members a LOT. Praying for miracles and trying to help the wards find the elect. Then... a youth in our ward texted us and said, "Hey, after church will you teach my friend?" 


After we finished our 3rd sacrament meeting, we rushed out to the lesson. It was nothing short of miraculous. The "friend" was mad elect. She has already read half the Book of Mormon and come to church many times, but she had never met with the missionaries. That's a referral and a half.


The crazy part is, we didn't teach that family a member lesson or anything. We didn't do anything to create the referral. The Lord did it all. Cool stuff. Trust in the Lord. 


Share the gospel. We will see if the Sheppert family in Vancouver shares the gospel with anyone this week. I will let all the readers on here know if they don't. Next week, it may be you. Happy Halloween :)

The rumors are true. I still buy green bananas, even after all that the prophet has taught. In other news... this is the last week of this part of my mission. I'll be back in the Couve on Friday!  The last few weeks people have asked, "Are you nervous, excited, scared, or what?" I'm really just feeling good! Paul Was The First Masterbuilder!!

1 Corinthians 3:10 "According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon." Be the special! We taught a super cool, extremely spiritual lesson Friday to one of our friends! She is a really nice lady with some adult kids and a husband. She really was seeking peace. We had felt like we should send a reminder text about the lesson to her an hour and a half before the lesson (and thought nothing of it). When we arrived she said she was at work until just a few minutes ago. She was planning to ask to reschedule because she had a lot to get done, but then she got the reminder text from us. She showed it to her boss and said she thought our text was a sign that she needed that lesson. She left work and met with us. We showed her how she can find peace on her own in the scriptures. "Surrounded By Russians"

This was a solid week. I have learned a lot about many different parts of the gospel. My district just got to the in-person MTC today (Wednesday), and it is so sweet!! The people here are so fun, and it is so amazing to work with them in person! I have a very cool story to share.  On my 6 am flight :) from Portland to Salt Lake City today, I was seated on an aisle seat. There was another elder a couple of rows away, so we started talking about where we were going. When I said Dnipro, the man across the aisle from me said with a heavy accent, "You're going to Ukraine!" He proceeded to tell me he was born in Ukraine and grew up in Russia. He was fluent in both Russian and Ukrainian. His family was in the two rows near him. It was so cute to hear his kids say things I could actually understand in Russian.
