How Does A Rag Tag Volunteer?? +Bars

All I needed was some brick and a scar
Now, all I need is a book and a car
I've got a Bible in my one hand, tripo combo in the other, 
we unified, biking fast, preachin gospel to my brothers


Work, work, Whitmer! Work, work, Cowdery! (And Harris) the three witnesses! 


The week has been swell. Transfers have been awesome. There was a lot of planning this week, trying to figure out how to best work this area. False alarm on San Tan Valley! That's the name of our zone, but... it is just the edge of our mission in South Chandler and Gilbert. This is a rich, nice place. 'Couve Gang, don't sweat tho. We ain't back to the fiery chasms from whence we came just yet. 


We have had lots of steak, and delicious meat. One of our ward mission leaders has watched "Top Gun Maverick" in theaters 12 times. Beat that, Jared (JP). 


It is still awesome to serve as a missionary!! I just keep learning and keep trying my best. A good verse I have shared lately is Mosiah 18:21. "Hearts knit together in unity." Can we all just get hyped to serve the Lord together? Let's get HYPEEEE!!! 


I wish I had a million dollars. Hot dang.

The rumors are true. I still buy green bananas, even after all that the prophet has taught. In other news... this is the last week of this part of my mission. I'll be back in the Couve on Friday!  The last few weeks people have asked, "Are you nervous, excited, scared, or what?" I'm really just feeling good! It'll be good to keep grinding, living and sharing the word of Christ. That doesn't change! Paul Was The First Masterbuilder!!

1 Corinthians 3:10 "According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon." Be the special! We taught a super cool, extremely spiritual lesson Friday to one of our friends! She is a really nice lady with some adult kids and a husband. She really was seeking peace. We had felt like we should send a reminder text about the lesson to her an hour and a half before the lesson (and thought nothing of it). When we arrived she said she was at work until just a few minutes ago. She was planning to ask to reschedule because she had a lot to get done, but then she got the reminder text from us. She showed it to her boss and said she thought our text was a sign that she needed that lesson. She left work and met with us. We showed her how she can find peace on her own in the scriptures. "Surrounded By Russians"

This was a solid week. I have learned a lot about many different parts of the gospel. My district just got to the in-person MTC today (Wednesday), and it is so sweet!! The people here are so fun, and it is so amazing to work with them in person! I have a very cool story to share.  On my 6 am flight :) from Portland to Salt Lake City today, I was seated on an aisle seat. There was another elder a couple of rows away, so we started talking about where we were going. When I said Dnipro, the man across the aisle from me said with a heavy accent, "You're going to Ukraine!" He proceeded to tell me he was born in Ukraine and grew up in Russia. He was fluent in both Russian and Ukrainian. His family was in the two rows near him. It was so cute to hear his kids say things I could actually understand in Russian.
