Friends, it's time you knew, the mission in Gra'andview, goes so hard!!!


The Lord has been bringing many things together here in Tempe. It's pretty fun to be a little child-Elder stumbling in the metaphorical rain-blessings, trying to move my baby seal leather boots fast enough to catch all the rain-blessings I can in my overflowing grail. 


It's like when you're at the JJ Jump money machine, phone booth thing and the cash is all flying around you, and your unstoppable 7 year old extreme athlete self leaves the 15 seconds in the machine with 6 dollars and the knowledge that there was a $100 bill somewhere in there.


Sometimes that's how I feel trying to do the work of Christ! However, it is sooooo worth it! I may not be able to catch all them blessings for the area, but the blessings we have seen are sooo cool. Wednesday we left the mission to walk the Mesa temple with some of our friends. That was awesome! We have street contacted a lot of people lately who are just legitimately interested. 


We talked to this one lady who was chilling in a super nice sports car with some man. He was making less than kind comments the whole time, but we were able to share Moroni's promise and she was down. We put our number on a card in the Book of Mormon. We got hers as well and dipped. Later that day, she texted us!! THEY NEVER TEXT US FIRST!?! She was like, "Sorry he was so rude, your message is legit. I can't wait to read and pray!!"


Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.


Enough said.

The rumors are true. I still buy green bananas, even after all that the prophet has taught. In other news... this is the last week of this part of my mission. I'll be back in the Couve on Friday!  The last few weeks people have asked, "Are you nervous, excited, scared, or what?" I'm really just feeling good! It'll be good to keep grinding, living and sharing the word of Christ. That doesn't change! Paul Was The First Masterbuilder!!

1 Corinthians 3:10 "According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon." Be the special! We taught a super cool, extremely spiritual lesson Friday to one of our friends! She is a really nice lady with some adult kids and a husband. She really was seeking peace. We had felt like we should send a reminder text about the lesson to her an hour and a half before the lesson (and thought nothing of it). When we arrived she said she was at work until just a few minutes ago. She was planning to ask to reschedule because she had a lot to get done, but then she got the reminder text from us. She showed it to her boss and said she thought our text was a sign that she needed that lesson. She left work and met with us. We showed her how she can find peace on her own in the scriptures. "Surrounded By Russians"

This was a solid week. I have learned a lot about many different parts of the gospel. My district just got to the in-person MTC today (Wednesday), and it is so sweet!! The people here are so fun, and it is so amazing to work with them in person! I have a very cool story to share.  On my 6 am flight :) from Portland to Salt Lake City today, I was seated on an aisle seat. There was another elder a couple of rows away, so we started talking about where we were going. When I said Dnipro, the man across the aisle from me said with a heavy accent, "You're going to Ukraine!" He proceeded to tell me he was born in Ukraine and grew up in Russia. He was fluent in both Russian and Ukrainian. His family was in the two rows near him. It was so cute to hear his kids say things I could actually understand in Russian.
