Joe's baptism is in 2 days! Pray for it go smoothly!! 

A few days ago we taught this young mother the Plan of Salvation, and over and over again she was like, "That is what I already thought", or "That just makes sense!" It is so cool for people to realize that our gospel, (Christ's Gospel) is true. It is correct! When Joe tells his story he says, "It's like I was looking for something I already knew." We all came from the Pre-Mortal Life, we already did know! It is so great to have the spirit reconfirm truth to our hearts.

Elder Gerrit W Gong came and talked to our mission! Right off the bat he did something legendary. A sister sang a beautiful song about the restoration, and afterwards, Elder Gong popped up to the pulpit and said, "We don't do this very often, but that was beautiful song and its message is so important. Will you please come back up and sing it again?" 

Everyone was shocked but the sister on the piano and the sister singing were both very composed and did excellent. Just a warning for all you musicians out there, if you do too good, an Apostle may ask you to perform twice.

Elder Gong's message was so good!! He quoted the whole first vision for us and it was extremely powerful. We all shook his hand. I was this close to telling him I stayed the night in his apartment a couple years back. Anyways, if you're wondering if he is truly called of God, he is.

Side note- I've been cutting hair out here and it doesn't look half bad. I may drop out of college and become a barber (of Seville?) Definitely not Fleet Street though.

The rumors are true. I still buy green bananas, even after all that the prophet has taught. In other news... this is the last week of this part of my mission. I'll be back in the Couve on Friday!  The last few weeks people have asked, "Are you nervous, excited, scared, or what?" I'm really just feeling good! It'll be good to keep grinding, living and sharing the word of Christ. That doesn't change! Paul Was The First Masterbuilder!!

1 Corinthians 3:10 "According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon." Be the special! We taught a super cool, extremely spiritual lesson Friday to one of our friends! She is a really nice lady with some adult kids and a husband. She really was seeking peace. We had felt like we should send a reminder text about the lesson to her an hour and a half before the lesson (and thought nothing of it). When we arrived she said she was at work until just a few minutes ago. She was planning to ask to reschedule because she had a lot to get done, but then she got the reminder text from us. She showed it to her boss and said she thought our text was a sign that she needed that lesson. She left work and met with us. We showed her how she can find peace on her own in the scriptures. "Surrounded By Russians"

This was a solid week. I have learned a lot about many different parts of the gospel. My district just got to the in-person MTC today (Wednesday), and it is so sweet!! The people here are so fun, and it is so amazing to work with them in person! I have a very cool story to share.  On my 6 am flight :) from Portland to Salt Lake City today, I was seated on an aisle seat. There was another elder a couple of rows away, so we started talking about where we were going. When I said Dnipro, the man across the aisle from me said with a heavy accent, "You're going to Ukraine!" He proceeded to tell me he was born in Ukraine and grew up in Russia. He was fluent in both Russian and Ukrainian. His family was in the two rows near him. It was so cute to hear his kids say things I could actually understand in Russian.
