"Я Am Señor Wooly"
Out here in Yuma, there are a lot of Spanish speakers, who also speak very little to no English. The apartments in which I abide have probably 50% people who speak English. Because of this, I happen to be trying my hand at Spanish.
One time, when conversing in both his broken English and my broken Spanish, the man I was talking to apparently thought I needed a blessing. My companion was on the phone so he couldn't help me out. This little kid in the background started playing a Spanish holy song that sounded surprisingly similar to "Duel of the Fates." Then the man who was about 5 ft tall reached up and held his palm on my forehead. He then said some things that were hard to understand partly because some of it was in Spanish! I just stood there. I'll take all the blessings I can get!!
Latest fire purchase: Almond Crunchy Honey Oats (great value)
It is half the price of Honey Bunches of Oats and it has half the flavor. But still... it has the same amount of calories so we are chilling.
Learning about the scriptures brings me so much joy.
Week was golden!
