"6 Tubes, 4 Tires"
LET'S GET HYPE!!
I know the last couple emails have been #boring. Don't worry, I'm regaining my journalistic gumption, and can promise some good, quick, quality content.
The back tire on my bike has had some trouble. It doesn't always pop but it does end as a Patriots' football. Yes, (this transfer) I am on tube #6 and tire #4. Part of the problem was that the mission office sent me a tire that already had a hole, and a tire of the wrong size. But I do take credit for popping at least 4 bike tubes. Yes... I've tried slime. I am on slime tube #3 and this one seems to be holding. It's OK though! I have gotten to ride Elder Lundberg's bike while I was working on mine! Some would say I went for the 2 in the bush, and it didn't pan out this time.
I know what you're thinking...
"All work and no play makes Elder Sheppert a very dull boy!"
I got some play time this morning. We went hiking.
In other news, we are finding new people to teach like crazy! It's like we dropped Tilted season 3! One of our friends that I wrote about already (the rapper) has been sending us his lyrics so I can look em over and make suggestions and comments. I usually write some lyrics of my own and send em back. Yesterday he said, "Bro, you should really be in the studio." Don't worry, mom, 21 Savage has a 10 car garage. It pays good! So yeah, when I finish my mission I am dropping out of college and moving to LA to pursue my career in Lyrical. Artistic. Bangers. The LAB!
Also this week I got to be in 2 lessons where a friend accepted the invitation to be baptized! One was our friend Jade which was awesome, and one was when I was on an exchange. It is so cool to see how serious people take baptism. This is no joke, they are literally covenanting with God. Reflect on your baptism. It should be very important to you. Take the sacrament every week and reflect!
Someone in the audience is probably wondering, "Elder Sheppert, there's a lot of doubters out there. What would you say to them?"
--"Thank you for the Motivation."
