We have a goliath of an area for biking. It's completely radical. There is so much potential here! My companion and I are whitewashing (we are both new to the area), so we are learning a ton every day. It's a lot of fun because the west side is a ton of apartments, and the east side is pretty nice housing, so we got a good mix of people and areas. We also are just surrounded by desert in 3 directions so that is pretty awesome. 


I will share a miracle.


We were biking home, and we heard a "help." In the rocks a ways from the road, there was an older man lying on the rocks. His legs were scraped up and bleeding. There was another man there who was probably about 30. Apparently he had heard the old man calling for help, and came over, but the old man didn't have his phone or remember his phone number. He was just sitting there with the old man because he wouldn't let him call the police. We were in a weird spot, but we were able to lift the old man to the sidewalk. He couldn't walk. He remembered his address, so we biked there and got his family to come pick him up. They had been looking for him for over 2 hours. They were so grateful, and they kept saying how God had put us in the right place at the right time.


When we are in tune with the spirit, we will be able to see miracles. I was so grateful to be able to help that family. 


I recommend that everyone now reads 2 Nephi 2. Understanding the great Plan of Redemption is so important. 


Get your education, don't forget from whence you came!

The rumors are true. I still buy green bananas, even after all that the prophet has taught. In other news... this is the last week of this part of my mission. I'll be back in the Couve on Friday!  The last few weeks people have asked, "Are you nervous, excited, scared, or what?" I'm really just feeling good! Paul Was The First Masterbuilder!!

1 Corinthians 3:10 "According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon." Be the special! We taught a super cool, extremely spiritual lesson Friday to one of our friends! She is a really nice lady with some adult kids and a husband. She really was seeking peace. We had felt like we should send a reminder text about the lesson to her an hour and a half before the lesson (and thought nothing of it). When we arrived she said she was at work until just a few minutes ago. She was planning to ask to reschedule because she had a lot to get done, but then she got the reminder text from us. She showed it to her boss and said she thought our text was a sign that she needed that lesson. She left work and met with us. We showed her how she can find peace on her own in the scriptures. "Surrounded By Russians"

This was a solid week. I have learned a lot about many different parts of the gospel. My district just got to the in-person MTC today (Wednesday), and it is so sweet!! The people here are so fun, and it is so amazing to work with them in person! I have a very cool story to share.  On my 6 am flight :) from Portland to Salt Lake City today, I was seated on an aisle seat. There was another elder a couple of rows away, so we started talking about where we were going. When I said Dnipro, the man across the aisle from me said with a heavy accent, "You're going to Ukraine!" He proceeded to tell me he was born in Ukraine and grew up in Russia. He was fluent in both Russian and Ukrainian. His family was in the two rows near him. It was so cute to hear his kids say things I could actually understand in Russian.
