"4 Bar Mondays Are Back!!"

Hello!

I am currently residing in Maricopa, Arizona. It's pretty fantastic. My companions are pretty sweet. Elder Gilbert is leaving for his original assignment in 3 weeks, at which point it will be just Elder Stone and I. Kind of big sad, but Elder Stone is really awesome too. We will power through.

The Arizona Tempe mission is a biking mission. Every day we bike 15 minutes to get to our area and then at night we have to bike back. This place is so beautiful, and the bike rides honestly feel great. Sometimes, it makes me think of my own father on his mission biking through the Netherlands. These fire bars come to mind:

We could have gone pro
You for tennis, me for Fortnite

You returning all those quick serves
and me hitting all those quick snipes

I landed those perfect 'nades
And you smashed with those sweet spikes

Now we rolling preachin' gospel
through the cities on our bikes

One of my favorite parts of being a missionary is how close I get to work with the spirit every day. My challenge to you guys is to pray to God asking him to give you a spiritual prompting. He will. Then do what it says. As you do this your capacity for revelation will increase. (Sound familiar?)
Read the Book of Mormon this week. I have been in this area 5 days and I have already seen the Book of Mormon seriously change lives.

Love y'all,
Elder Sheppert
